Members of SSSIO Bangladesh joyfully celebrated Swami's 100th Birthday with devotional bhajans and the cutting of a celebratory cake. As part of the occasion, Swami's books were distributed, and groceries were provided to the community in a nearby village.
Indonesia
On Avatar Day in October 2025, service activities in Banyuwangi Regency (SSSIO Indonesia Region 4) included the distribution of diapers, dry food, and medicines, along with health check-ups for elderly residents. A total of 25 care packages were distributed.
On November 2, 2025, a medical camp was conducted at the Bandung Sai Center in Region 3, where 50 patients were treated and served food.
On December 7, the Sathya Sai Group (SSG) Bandung distributed 20 wheelchairs in Garut Regency in commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was held at the Social Affairs Office of Garut Regency and attended by several officials. Since 2014, SSG Bandung has donated 260 wheelchairs. In recognition of these longstanding contributions, the Regent of Garut presented a certificate of appreciation.
On December 7, 2025, devotees in Central Bali (Region 6) renovated a house for an elderly woman, Ms. Desak Niang, who lived alone. All roof tiles were replaced, and 25 devotees worked together to clean debris and clear the surrounding area.
On December 13, 2025, the Sathya Sai Group, Mahendradatta, Bali hosted an Arts Night titled 'Harmony in Diversity', featuring a variety of performances centered on themes of harmony, tolerance, and cultural diversity. Through music, dance, and creative expression, participants celebrated unity and mutual respect.
On December 20, 2025, the Sathya Sai Group, Denpasar, organized another Arts Night as part of the 100th Birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The event brought together Sai Bal Vikas children, Sai Youth, Sai Mahila, and members of the Sathya Sai School. A highlight of the evening was a drama performed by the Sai Bal Vikas children titled 'Behind Every Event', conveying the message that life unfolds according to God's divine will.
In Region 1, responding to post-flood health concerns, free medical camps were conducted in Dusun Harpan and Lankat. On December 25, 2025, five doctors and a medical assistant treated 80 residents. In appreciation of their selfless service, local government officials presented social service certificates to all participants.
On December 27, 2025, a blood donation drive was held at Padalembara Village, Poso Pesisir, Central Sulawesi, in Region 9, in commemoration of Baba's 100th Birthday. A total of 35 units of blood were collected to support those in need and strengthen compassion within the community.
Malaysia
In conjunction with Thaipusam, one of Malaysia's major Hindu festivals, SSSIO Malaysia organized a nationwide blood donation drive on February 11 and 12, 2025. Conducted in collaboration with the National Blood Bank and government hospitals, the campaign spanned four key locations, Penang, Ipoh, Batu Caves, and Segamat, and operated continuously for 66 hours over two days. With the dedicated support of 372 volunteers, more than 2,150 pints of blood were collected to help replenish hospital supplies and save countless lives. The large-scale initiative addressed a critical medical need and reflected the spirit of unity, compassion, and selfless service that defines the Sai community.
Continuing this commitment to community well-being, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Brown Garden in Penang hosted its first-ever Chair Zumba session on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Sixteen participants of various ages enthusiastically joined the exercise program, which was warmly received for its inclusive and uplifting approach to fitness.
Philippines
In commemoration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's 100th Birthday, a range of educational and service initiatives were carried out with dedication and love. A key offering was the special service, through which over 1,200 beneficiaries were served food regularly throughout the year. SSSIO volunteers also supported families and children with disabilities, reflecting a commitment to inclusive care and compassion.
Alongside these initiatives, several spiritual sadhanas were undertaken, including light meditation and the regular observance of the monthly Sathyanarayana Katha which strengthened spiritual practice and inner reflection.
Singapore
Over Singapore's SG60 weekend, the 2025 Sri Sathya Sai National Retreat brought together devotees, Young Adults, and SSE children in a joyous and prayerful celebration in preparation for the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Held at the sacred precincts of Sri Rudra Kaliamman Temple, the retreat revolved around the theme 'The Name Within', inviting participants to rediscover the power, sweetness, and transformative grace of the divine name. The two-day sadhana included a historic offering of 100 bhajans by 91 singers. The program was enriched by soul-stirring talks by Mr. Aravind Balasubramanya, as well as interactive workshops on namasmarana (repetition of the divine name), bhajan singing, and chanting. Through inspiring stories, heartfelt reflections, and practical spiritual guidance, participants were gently reminded to 'water the root' — to love God first and develop devotion.
On Aradhana Day 2025, a group of 100 volunteers including SSE students, parents, gurus, and center members, came together to participate in a beach cleanup. Inspired by Swami's words, Nature is the vesture of God, the initiative reflected a shared commitment to service and environmental stewardship.
As part of the Birthday celebrations, SSE students and elders also organized interactive sessions for senior citizens. The program included games, stretching exercises, and dance performances, bringing moments of joy and engagement to all.
Sri Lanka
In early 2025, the SSSIO of Sri Lanka completed two meaningful housing initiatives in the Northern Province. On January 19, 2025, a mother and her son were gifted a newly built, fully equipped home in Urelu, Jaffna, lifting them from poverty and insecurity into a life of dignity. This heartfelt offering was a collaborative effort between the Jaffna Sri Sathya Sai Center and SSSIO Sri Lanka.
Continuing this divine mission of compassion, on February 23, 2025, the foundation stone was laid for another home in Kaithady for a family of seven who had been living in dire conditions. Identified by the Chavakachcheri Sri Sathya Sai Center, this initiative once again translated Swami's message of Love in Action into tangible hope, safety, and renewed possibility.
On February 23, 2025, 37 devotees from the Ladies Wing, Young Adults, and SSE children of the Colombo Sai Center visited the Sathya Sai Elders' Home in Meegoda. The morning unfolded with bhajans, music, games, and the innocent joy of SSE children, filling the space with warmth and laughter. A thoughtful value-based activity invited the elders to share qualities they admired. The celebration of the elders' birthdays added a special sparkle to the gathering.
A new chapter in Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) began on February 21, 2025, in the Thavadi South area of the Northern Region. An interactive orientation session for parents introduced the core principles of SSEHV, highlighting its transformative impact on children and families. Through experience-sharing, engaging games, and open dialogue, 54 parents and 26 children participated in a warm and receptive atmosphere. The event laid a strong foundation for sustained collaboration between families and the Sai center in nurturing values-based education.
In March, volunteers from the Jaffna and Point Pedro Sai Centers organized two Village Service Projects to promote physical well-being, human values, and sustainable support in underserved communities.
In Palaly, Jaffna, meals were lovingly prepared and served to more than 200 residents. Fertilizer, along with 120 saplings and seed packs, was distributed to over 30 households to encourage self-sufficiency. The day also included medical guidance, health awareness programs, and value-based sessions on parenting.
In Navalady, a free medical camp provided consultations and care to 70 beneficiaries. Parenting sessions on Human Values and Right Living were conducted, while over 22 young children received nutritious 'Sai Protein Mix'. More than 250 residents were served home-cooked meals, and the day concluded with uplifting group prayers and devotional singing. These initiatives reflected the transformative power of selfless service and the close collaboration among Sai Centers to serve rural communities with love and dignity.
In the spirit of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year known as Avurudu, a time of renewal, family unity, and celebration, more than 20 Young Adults from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Colombo organized a special celebration on April 20, 2025, at the Sathya Sai Suwasevana Cancer Hospice in Hanwella. The event brought together 47 residents from the hospice and the Sathya Sai Elders' Home in Meegoda, creating a joyful space of unity and spiritual connection. The day began with soulful bhajans and heartfelt New Year greetings, followed by traditional Avurudu games thoughtfully arranged by the Young Adults. An interactive segment allowed elders to reflect on the significance of the occasion and express gratitude to Swami. Personalized gift packs were distributed as tokens of love. Hospice residents received colognes, talcum powder, oil, slippers, and clothing, while the Elders' Home was gifted a carrom board and a draughts board for recreation. The celebration concluded with lunch, each moment reflecting Swami's boundless love.
Aradhana Mahotsavam was observed across Sri Lanka with a rich blend of devotion and service, from the highlands to cities such as Colombo and Thalawakele. The day commenced with Nagara Sankirtan processions, followed by meaningful service activities. The Thalawakele Sai Center donated agricultural equipment and plants to Thalawakele Tamil National College. At the Colombo Sai Mandir, volunteers organized a blood donation camp, collecting 19 pints of blood for the National Blood Center. On April 27, 2025, the Sri Sathya Sai Mandir in Colombo hosted a Laksharchana, where 160 devotees chanted Bhagawan's name 1,008 times. The sanctified rice offered during the ceremony was later used to prepare 287 meals for those in need.
Throughout April and May 2025, SSSIO Sri Lanka conducted a series of healthcare initiatives as offerings for Aradhana Mahotsavam and the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Baba's advent. On April 6, the Northern Region organized a blood donation camp with the participation of 38 devotees. On May 11, the Jaffna Sathya Sai Center, in collaboration with the Kala Mandram of the Thondaimanaru Selva Sannathi Murugan Temple, conducted a free medical camp serving nearly 70 people with the support of 15 volunteers, including seven medical specialists and a pharmacist.
In Trincomalee, the Sri Sathya Sai Center launched a compassionate monthly initiative in April 2025 to support 50 underprivileged expectant mothers until childbirth. Partnering with polyclinics across 10 locations, the Center provides nutrition and care packs, including milk powder, sugar, pulses, grains, and delivery essentials, offering nourishment, reassurance, and hope.
On May 13, 2025, in a heartfelt observance of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's 100th Year of Advent and the sacred Buddha Poornima, devotees from the Senkadagala Sai Center in the Central Region carried out a simple yet profound act of compassion. In the quiet hours of the morning, they distributed milk and biscuits to 30 stray dogs along Ampitiya Road and in Kandy Town, embodying Swami's teaching that service to all beings is service to God.
Thailand
When COVID-19 once again affected the community, many daily wage earners were left without income and struggled to obtain necessities. Responding swiftly, five SSSIO members delivered rice, oil, toiletries, mosquito repellent, paracetamol, and other essentials to those in need. The relief and gratitude of the families showed the healing power of love in action, inspired by Bhagawan's message of selfless service.
In January 2025, 12 members of SSSIO Thailand lovingly served 100 families in the adopted community of Charansanitwongse, Bangkok. As the service coincided with Thailand's National Children's Day, special efforts were made to bring joy to 42 children living in the slums. Volunteers organized games, sang songs on human values, and distributed prizes and snacks, creating an atmosphere of laughter and celebration. All 100 families expressed heartfelt gratitude for the food and essential provisions received.
On February 15, 2025, 230 alumni of the Sathya Sai School reunited under the theme 'Life is a Game, Play It.' The day was filled with inspiring programs, joyful interactions, and heartfelt reflections. Each activity echoed Swami's teachings of love, discipline, and cheerfulness, making the reunion a beautiful celebration of shared values and lifelong bonds within the Sai family.
Devotional observances throughout the year deepened the spiritual foundation of service. On April 24, 2025, 40 members gathered for heartfelt bhajans in observance of Aradhana Mahotsavam, followed by dinner. Two days later, nine volunteers distributed ice cream and apples to 300 construction workers under Bangkok's sweltering heat, bringing smiles and refreshment.
The spirit of unity extended beyond the Sai community. On June 21, 2025, 178 students and teachers from the Sathya Sai School, along with five devotees from Bangkok, participated in a grand Yoga Day celebration hosted by the Indian Embassy at a university field. Days later, on June 25, 12 SSE teachers attended a dynamic workshop led by Mr. Satyajit Salian.
On June 28, a group of 13 adults and 6 children planted 300 mangrove trees near Bangkok after beginning the day with prayers and breakfast. At the Sathya Sai School, another initiative saw volunteers travel 200 kilometers from Bangkok to plant 75 trees. Teachers, students, and local devotees joined in, transforming the campus into a greener sanctuary. One SSE student, Maithreyi, reflected that the experience inspired her to do even more for the planet.
Throughout the year, environmental services remained a central focus. On July 6, 2025, over 100 volunteers from Bangkok, including SSE children, planted 100 trees at the Sathya Sai School in Lopburi as a living tribute to Swami's 100th Birthday. Candles were also lovingly prepared for a local Buddhist temple in honor of Guru Poornima.
Service outreach expanded further on August 24, 2025, when 16 SSSIO members and five others assisted 40 families in a deaf and mute slum community beneath a bridge in Bangkok. Essential supplies, including rice, oil, sugar, milk, squash drinks, and mosquito repellents, were distributed, while the area was decorated with a banner honoring Swami's 100th Birthday.
On September 20–21, 2025, 12 SSSIO members and 17 others, including students from the Sathya Sai School Lamnarai, undertook a beach-cleaning initiative in Pattaya. Combining devotion and environmental action, they sang bhajans, shared meals, conducted presentations, and collected 10 large bags of waste from the shoreline. Participants described the event as a spiritually uplifting 'family pilgrimage,' filled with unity and gratitude.
SSSIO members lovingly support 70 families regularly, transforming ordinary afternoons into sacred gatherings of unity and compassion. On October 13 and November 22, 2025, the service began with the chanting of three Oms, the Gayatri Mantra, and the food prayer. As families received essential items rice, cooking oil, milk, soap, cooling talcum powder, and mosquito repellents, they were warmly invited to say "Sairam," filling the space with echoes of divine love and compassion.
The centenary year of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's advent was celebrated across Thailand with a week of devotional and service programs. The festivities began with an inspiring Ladies' Day celebration on November 19, 2025, at Prestige Tower Center. Twenty-six members and 85 guests gathered to honor the divine qualities of women, including love, patience, and selfless service. A dynamic panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers from diverse professional backgrounds shared inspiring experiences of living human values in daily life.
The Education Wing hosted a heartfelt Parents' Day celebration with 44 participants. Senior SSE students chanted the 'Paduka Stotram' as teachers carried Swami's sacred padukas in procession. Fourteen students offered moving tributes to their parents, followed by the traditional washing of their parents' feet and bowing in gratitude.
When devastating floods struck Hatyai in late November 2025, displacing thousands, the SSSIO in Thailand responded immediately. Rice, noodles, detergent, and medicines were delivered in collaboration with the local Gurdwara, reinforcing bonds of unity and compassion.
On December 6, 2025, volunteers conducted a pre-Christmas service at the Good Shepherd Sisters Home, which shelters orphaned girls and single mothers. Welcomed warmly by Sister Louise, a 90-year-old volunteer, devotees sang Sarva Dharma bhajans, while the children and staff offered hymns and carols. Essential provisions including rice, noodles, oil, sugar, beverages, biscuits, paper supplies, tissues, Pampers, and Dettol, were donated. The gathering beautifully reflected the message of oneness and shared faith.
