Costa Rica
SSSIO volunteers planted nine trees in the Escazú community. They also visited a nursing home and provided the elderly residents with light refreshments. Thirty-five participants celebrated the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with a special program in the rural area of Cachí, Cartago.
In 2025, SSSIO volunteers in Costa Rica observed a full calendar of spiritual and community activities. Celebrations included Maha Shivaratri, Ganesha Chaturti, a Christmas gathering with carol singing, and a spiritual retreat on October 12, 2025, on the theme 'Spirituality: The Path to Peace and Happiness,' attended by nearly 30 people. A satsang led by Ms. Paola Carvajal was held on August 2, 2025, and weekly Sunday meetings were held throughout the year.
Cuba
The SSSIO of Cuba continued activities focused on education, service, and devotional programs. A Human Values Education Workshop was held with approximately 20 participants, strengthening the five core values of truth, righteousness, peace, love, and non-violence. SSSIO volunteers distributed food to support approximately 20 families in vulnerable situations. Consistent communication and guidance were maintained with devotees throughout the year, deepening their spiritual connection and practical application of Swami's teachings.
Dominican Republic
Three medical outreach camps were conducted throughout the year, collectively serving 274 people. In May, healthcare was provided to approximately 70 adults in Herrera, Santo Domingo, accompanied by the distribution of 44 food baskets and clothing. A second camp held in June served 51 children at Hogar Gosen, San Francisco de Macorís. In November, a third medical camp in Mata Mamón, Santo Domingo, was attended by 62 children and 91 adults, the largest single camp of the year.
A virtual talk commemorating the Day of Our Lady of Altagracia in January drew approximately 43 people. The festival of Maha Shivaratri was observed in February at the Sathya Sai School in La Vega with around 30 devotees.
Public conferences on the theme Spirituality: A Path to Peace and Happiness were held in April in La Vega and San Francisco de Macorís, reaching a combined audience of approximately 120 people. Mr. Oscar Morado, Chairman of Zone 2A, was the speaker at these events. Around 30 people attended another public meeting in July, with the theme A Path to Happiness, where the speaker was Lidio Cadet.
More than 200 people attended the 100th Birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) on November 22, 2025. This was the largest gathering of the year, a fitting tribute to Bhagawan's enduring message of love and service.
El Salvador
On May 24, 2025, a general medical camp was held in the San Paulino community of San José Villanueva, La Libertad. Three physicians and 10 volunteers conducted blood pressure and blood glucose testing for 61 patients. They also offered essential preventive healthcare services to an underserved rural community.
In connection with the Centenary celebrations, an additional medical camp and toy distribution were held in the Tacachico community, La Libertad, extending care and joy to families across the region.
In San José Villanueva, volunteers regularly feed approximately 200 stray dogs and cats twice weekly, providing a consistent source of nourishment for vulnerable animals. Food supplies include adult and puppy dog food, adult and kitten cat food, and bagged water, reflecting the volunteers’ commitment to compassion for all living beings.
More than 120 Funera trees, an endangered species in El Salvador, were planted at Hacienda Santa Isabel in the jurisdiction of Tacachico, La Libertad. Sixteen volunteers participated in the service, including two young adults and children from the Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) program, making this an intergenerational act of environmental conservation.
Six certified graduates of the 2024 Human Values Trainer Program completed a 10-week Human Values workshop for 16 Sunday School teachers of the Evangelical Church of San Paulino, San José Villanueva. All 16 teachers graduated, extending the reach of values-based education to the broader faith community.
Beginning on July 12, 2025, the Sathya Sai Institute of El Salvador commenced weekly Human Values classes every Saturday morning at the San Vicente de Paul Home for orphaned children. Nine rotating certified instructors serve three groups, including 15 girls aged 12–14, 15 adolescent mothers aged 12–17, and 15 boys aged 12–14. The volunteers provide structured, values-centered education to 45 young people in vulnerable circumstances.
Two family engagement events were held in July and December, bringing together parents, children, and teachers. The first event explored the topic 'The Importance of Communication' and the second one focused on 'A Testimony of the Impact of Human Values in Life,' deepening the connection between families and the SSSIO’s educational mission.
On November 23, 2025, Sai devotees in El Salvador celebrated the 100th anniversary of the advent of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the main hall of the College of Pharmaceutical Chemists. More than 70 devotees from across the country gathered for an evening of devotion and reflection featuring an inspiring talk, bhajans, and three theatrical performances depicting the life and miracles of Bhagawan, presented by different Sai Centers. The closing ceremony, in which all devotees joined in swinging Swami on His jhoola while singing the jhoola song - was described as deeply emotional and love-filled. The celebration concluded with cake cutting and a shared lunch.
The following weekend, narayana seva, a medical camp, and a toy distribution were held in the Tacachico community, extending the spirit of the celebration into direct service.
Guatemala
Every Sunday, approximately five volunteers from the Sai Center of Guatemala City served breakfast for the homeless, serving an average of 200 breakfasts weekly. A weaving initiative involving nearly 15 women and several elderly participants produced approximately 200 baby garments, which were donated to under-resourced hospitals. The Sai Center of Antigua also provided a monthly snack service to 30–40 elderly individuals.
The Sai Center of Guatemala City held regular Sunday meetings with devotional singing throughout the year, with nearly 50 devotees, who attended nine special celebrations, including Maha Shivaratri, Guru Poornima, Krishna Janmashtami, Akhanda Bhajan, and the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Sai Center of Antigua conducted approximately 40 in-person study circles on Thursday mornings throughout the year.
The Sai School in Guatemala continued to serve more than 200 students from low-income backgrounds across preschool, primary, and middle school levels, with 13 teachers integrating daily meditation and values education into the curriculum.
Haiti
Despite conditions of extreme violence affecting the country, the SSSIO continued its mission of service, education, and devotional activities through two active centers, one in Port-au-Prince and one in Gonaïves, serving around 67 members in total. Two community service initiatives were carried out during the year for people in vulnerable situations, reflecting the volunteers’ commitment to solidarity and selfless service, even amid deeply challenging circumstances. A Human Values Education program for children was maintained throughout the year, with weekly sessions focused on teaching fundamental values. A special activity featuring the distribution of gifts reinforced learning through meaningful and motivating experiences, deepening children's engagement with the program.
Mexico
The Central Zone in Mexico conducted 10 medical camps in 2025 across two locations in the states of Querétaro and Jalisco. In Santa Teresa, Huimilpan, volunteers provided Human Values education for children, haircuts, and nutrition and exercise talks for women, supported by six devotees and two volunteers. In the El Tizate neighborhood of Zapopan, eight medical camps served 325 people, including medical consultations and distribution of medicines, 78 Human Values classes for children, embroidery workshops, and psychological support for 28 individuals. In addition, the volunteers distributed 125 pairs of reading glasses, food packages, and 280 meals, and donated 90 kg of dog food.
On June 14, 2025, a First Aid Course was held for members of the Metropolitan Zone, equipping 24 participants with essential skills in emergency response, injury management, and safety protocols, supported by six volunteers.
The Metropolitan Zone carried out three reforestation drives across Mexico City and the State of Mexico. The first one was held in Milpa Alta on July 6, the second one in Cuemanco on August 16, and the third one in Toluca. In total, the volunteers planted approximately 550 trees, including oak, ahuehuete, and pine species. These service activities engaged children, youth, and adults in collective care for the environment as an expression of selfless service.
The SSSIO Mexico celebrated Sathya Sai Baba's 100th Birth on November 23, 2025, by coordinating celebrations across all seven zones throughout the country. Activities included devotional singing, Gayatri Mantra recitations, theatrical performances, fellowship gatherings, and community service initiatives, each adapted to local contexts. Highlights included the distribution of baby care packages for newborns in Chiapas, a large-scale cultural event in the Metropolitan Zone attended by nearly 400 people, gatherings to recognize and honor long-standing devotees in Monterrey, and reflection and media outreach programs for the public in other regions. Additionally, 100 online study circles based on the landmark book Sathyam Shivam Sundaram were conducted throughout the year, deepening individual and collective spiritual practice.
As part of the Sai 100 celebrations, the Metropolitan Zone conducted six sterilization campaigns across the greater Mexico City region, in Xochimilco, Toluca, Cuernavaca, Pachuca, Naucalpan, and Tepoztlán. These campaigns benefited 650 dogs and cats, providing sterilization, vaccination, and deworming services. The initiative addresses animal overpopulation, reduces disease transmission, and raises public awareness about responsible pet ownership.
The Sathya Sai Community Center in Iztapalapa served as a consistent source of support for vulnerable families throughout the year. Nine volunteers, including mothers and young community members, coordinated the monthly distribution of 32 food packages and clothing to families living in extreme poverty.
On August 30, 2025, 50 children were enrolled for the 2025–2026 school year. By Swami's Grace, the Center received donations of 20 drafting tables, 30 benches, and 2 filing cabinets, along with 60 new student uniforms. In October, following a visit by a territorial director of the Iztapalapa borough, the exterior of the building was freshly painted.
Ongoing services at the Center include Human Values classes, daily meals, cultural activities, and free medical consultations for women and children, with 87 patients treated during the year. Forty-three Center members also participated in the Sai 100 centenary celebration organized by the Metropolitan Zone.
In collaboration with the Sathya Sai Institute of Education in Human Values, the Metropolitan Zone delivered Human Values workshops across 11 sessions at community centers (Pilares) located in vulnerable areas of Mexico City. Participants included children, parents, teachers, and education sector staff. From January to December, workshops were held at six Pilares locations: Carlos Monsiváis, Cuicuilco, El Rosario, Perú, Olivar del Conde, and Tlacopan, as well as a local childcare center, reaching 436 participants in total. The initiative has received a strong and enthusiastic response, with institutions requesting SSSIO to address the specific needs of their communities.
Nicaragua
SSSIO volunteers in Nicaragua maintained a steady rhythm of devotee-centered programs throughout 2025. Weekly study circles were held every Wednesday on the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, supported by weekly devotional singing. Special observances included Maha Shivaratri, Aradhana Mahotsavam, and Swami's Birthday celebrations, which inspired members.
Puerto Rico
On March 9, 2025, SSSIO volunteers in Puerto Rico distributed approximately 57 lunches to the homeless and other needy individuals. Human Values educational activities for children were held on March 1 and March 8, 2025, in San Juan, incorporating singing classes as a pedagogical tool to reinforce values through music. A public conference titled 'Spirituality: A Path to Peace and Happiness,' delivered by Óscar Morado, promoted reflection and personal growth among attendees, complemented by a talk on ‘emotional intelligence’ facilitated by Mr. Aulio Hernández at the San Juan Center.
Panama
SSSIO volunteers in Panama carried out an extensive range of service activities throughout 2025. In February, school supplies and backpacks were distributed to 200 children in Chiriquí. In April, 100 food bags and grains were distributed in Quebrada Negra. SSEHV students also visited a community kitchen to cook and serve meals to 250 people.
In May, a bridge was commissioned for a village to enable safe crossing. In June, 100 trees were planted along Samuel Lewis Avenue, with the participation of India's Ambassador to Panama.
In October, the work of the SSSIO was featured on national television during the Indian festival of Diwali, sharing its mission of love, service, and spirituality with a national audience.
The SSE Teen Youth group visited Hogar San José, sharing games and songs with residents and donating food. In November, 17 mattresses and 300 diapers were donated to families affected by flooding. Food and emotional support were provided at the Oncology Hospital, and 100 baby kits were donated across Santo Tomás and San Miguel Arcángel hospitals. The Sai 100 celebration at the Panama Canal Authority theater featured student presentations on human values.
In December, gifts and other materials were distributed to mothers at Hogar Sol y Vida, and 200 toys, clothing, and shoes were offered to rural communities in Chiriquí.
