Overview
The International Sai Young Adults Programme empowers individuals aged 18 to 40 to lead purposeful lives by embracing the spiritual principles exemplified in the life, teachings, and works of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. With a focus on holistic character development, the program fosters personal transformation and selfless service, inspiring Sai Young Adults (YAs) to make a meaningful impact within their families, communities, and nations.
In addition to active participation in a wide range of initiatives across all 10 zones, the YA program was strengthened in 2025 by the addition of three key project teams, namely the International Sai Young Adults Veda Programme, Creative Media, and Empowering Leaders teams, alongside several initiatives under the Sai100 program, an offering for Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 100th Birthday. Rise with Sai Sadhana Program
'Rise with Sai', a Sai100 sadhana (spiritual practice) initiative, focused on self-transformation through disciplined personal practice. In this initiative, 445 participants from 48 countries undertook a sadhana from one of three categories: Health is Wealth, Mindfulness is Godliness, and Prayers for Peace. While initially intended for Young Adults, the program also saw participation from Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) students and adults.
Participants used a personalized online dashboard to log their daily sadhana, record reflections, and earn milestone badges. Fortnightly challenges, based on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings, were also given. Two 'Sai Inspires' sessions were held in October 2025, featuring Ms. Anuradha Venkateswaran and Mr. Adriano Bratovic, along with a panel discussion and participant reflections. The program was held from August 27 to November 23, 2025, and concluded in December 2025 with a session featuring Mr. Satyajit Salian.
Sai100 Meditation
The 'Sai100 Meditation' initiative offered structured, theme‑based guided sessions throughout the year, facilitated by Mr. Jagdesh Lakhan from Trinidad & Tobago. It enabled Young Adults to cultivate inner stillness, emotional balance, clarity of thought, and deeper attunement to their inherent divinity. The program is aligned with Swami’s teachings on meditation as a vital sadhana for Self‑realization.
Offered as 10 interactive online sessions with real‑time Spanish and Russian interpretation, the recordings of all the sessions were later made available on SSSIO’s YouTube channel. Each session had a unique theme—goal setting, visualization, the experience of sat‑chit‑ananda (pure existence, consciousness), and bliss, surrendering thoughts, emotions, and personal will to the Divine, remaining present in the moment, detachment from the material world, individual healing, acceptance, and self‑love. The year’s activities culminated in a session on December 13.
11th World Conference
Young Adults played a significant and multifaceted role in the SSSIO 11th World Conference. YAs created a dedicated WhatsApp group to connect members worldwide through Swami’s discourses, quizzes, and online sessions centered on the conference theme 'Purity is Enlightenment.' They also launched the 'Love is the Path' podcast, featuring reflections from devotees who had attended past World Conferences and Swami’s Birthdays.
During the conference, several offerings were entirely YA-led. These included a game show based on Swami’s life and teachings, a creative 'Sai Mailbox' Birthday Card installation, and a drama presentation, 'The Fire that Freed the Light'. A musical offering based on the Lord’s Prayer, written by Swami, brought together YA musicians and singers. Three Sai Talks shared personal experiences of practicing purity in individual, family, and collective life. YAs also curated conference mementos and produced a video for the digital exhibition highlighting the International YA Programme.
Beyond their own offerings, YAs contributed across the broader conference as panelists, debate participants, workshop facilitators, translators, emcees, and flag bearers representing different countries. They also led a chair yoga session and provided volunteer support in food service and parking coordination. The conference concluded with YAs summarizing its proceedings and key takeaways.
