Argentina
La Casita Sai Center, located in Florencio Varela, Province of Buenos Aires, is one of the longest-standing service initiatives of the SSSIO in Argentina, providing decades of continuous community support. The center offers weekly nutritional assistance, serving breakfast, lunches, and afternoon snacks with balanced vegetarian meals for hundreds of people. A volunteer polyclinic provides free medical care in dentistry, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and general medicine, especially for those with limited access to public healthcare. The medical services are supported by four healthcare professionals who are SSSIO members. In addition, the initiative promotes programs for children and human values workshops focused on respect, hygiene, and harmonious living. Serving more than 300 people annually, La Casita Sai stands as a model of sustained volunteer service, nurturing well-being, dignity, and a strong community bond.
Noccan Kani, located in Recreo, Province of Santa Fe, is one of the oldest service centers in Argentina, founded in the early 1990s with the blessing of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It supports rural families and indigenous communities, particularly the Mocoví community. The Sai Center conducts a variety of ongoing programs focused on nutritional support, human values education, social assistance, and community development — including the distribution of nutritious meals and food supplies, human values classes for children and adults, educational support, recreational and cultural activities, and vocational workshops such as cooking, sewing, and creating handicrafts to promote self-sufficiency. Seasonal donations of clothing, school supplies, and essential items are provided to families in need. Through these sustained initiatives, the Center reaches more than 600 people annually, nurturing dignity, intercultural connection, and a lasting culture of selfless service grounded in love and human values.
In November 2025, 45 SSSIO members attended '100 Years of Embodied Love', a celebration marking the centenary of the advent of Bhagawan Baba, hosted by the Noccan Kani Sathya Sai Center. The celebration reinforced the Center's role as a space for social service and as a place of pilgrimage and fraternal gathering for the devotees.
Established in 1996, the Sai Service House of Los Sauces, located near San Marcos Sierras in the Province of Córdoba, continues to support a rural community with limited access to basic services. Over time, the project evolved from providing essential donations of food and clothing into a structured community support program focused on healthcare, education, and community development. A key component of the initiative is its monthly free healthcare service, offering dental care and prosthodontic services that help restore both health and dignity to patients. Throughout the year, approximately 150 to 200 individuals receive care through these services.
Bolivia
On March 8, April 5, and April 19, 2025, around 10 members of the Sai Center of La Paz distributed food and clothing to people in need and experiencing homelessness in central areas of the city, including El Prado, Pérez Velasco Street, and Montes Street. The initiative benefited a total of 130 individuals.
On July 11, 2025, the SSSIO of Bolivia organized a public meeting at a local hotel in Santa Cruz. Around 18 people attended the event to deepen their understanding of the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The talk, titled 'Awakening to a Higher Consciousness', inspired reflections on the purpose of life, human values, and inner transformation.
From November 22 to 24, 2025, the National Meeting of Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centers of Bolivia was held in La Paz, at the María Reina de los Apóstoles Retreat House, bringing together 34 participants. The event, themed 'One Hundred Years of Love and Unity in Sai', focused on strengthening spiritual growth through a balanced program of talks, workshops, devotional activities, and reflective sessions centered on the teachings of Baba.
During the Christmas season, 154 low-income families received food baskets with essential items in the city of Sucre, bringing joy and relief during the holidays. Each basket included rice, pasta, sugar, oil, biscuits, tea, and sweets, thoughtfully prepared to support families living in underserved and remote areas of the city. The initiative was made possible through the contribution of 12 members of the SSSIO of Bolivia.
Throughout 2025, members of the Sai Center of Cochabamba carried out ongoing monthly service activities at the María Cristina Home, which serves children and adolescents with learning disabilities. Three volunteers performed maintenance work at the premises on multiple occasions throughout the year. During these visits, they also distributed clothing, pillows, medicines, and snacks, benefiting up to 90 residents. Additional infrastructure improvements included the installation of a water heater, the placement of polycarbonate sheets in 33 windows, and the repair of the water supply system.
Brazil
On July 19, 2025, 21 SSSIO volunteers from the State of Rio de Janeiro, together with the Coordinator of Region Southeast II and the Sai Foundation of Brazil, organized a community outreach project and medical camp at the Divine Light Community in the Vargem Pequena neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. This initiative was part of the Centenary Celebrations of the advent of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Ten medical professionals provided 76 consultations. Services included check-ups, health guidance, basic care, and distribution of medicines and hygiene kits. Additionally, 705 kg of food and 120 kg of pet food were distributed to families in vulnerable conditions.
On October 17, 2025, a medical camp was held at the Nossa Senhora das Graças Nursery School in Salvador, providing free medical care to children in the local community. The initiative involved 17 volunteers, including 12 SSSIO members, and services were rendered by 15 doctors including residents in otolaryngology, orthopedics, and pediatrics from Hospital Santo Antônio. A total of 164 children received medical consultations, diagnoses, guidance, and referrals, with some cases requiring follow-up treatment and surgical procedures at the hospital.
On June 29, 2025, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Natal organized the third annual "São João in Queimadas", a human values festival that integrates education, charitable donations, and community fellowship. Eighteen SSSIO volunteers, along with 10 members of the public, served more than 150 people from the local community. The program included a human values walk featuring songs and inspirational messages, a circle dance promoting unity, and the distribution of 78 bags of clothing and 68 food baskets (15 kg each) to families in need. A vegetarian lunch was also served.
On the last Saturday of each month, volunteers from the Sai Center of Feira de Santana — the Sai Roses — distribute food baskets to families in vulnerable situations. On October 25, 2025, four volunteers served 11 families. This initiative has been carried out uninterrupted for approximately 10 years, reflecting the center's ongoing commitment to selfless service to the community.
Chile
On June 21, 2025, the Seminario Sai Center conducted the workshop 'Nutrition for the Soul', bringing together 23 participants for a learning experience focused on Ayurvedic cooking and holistic well-being. The activity was led by an SSSIO member and included the preparation of three Ayurvedic recipes, highlighting kitchree, a traditional Indian dish known for its detoxifying properties. Participants learned about the benefits of spices such as turmeric, cumin, and ginger, and tasted the food in an atmosphere of gratitude and reflection.
On August 10, 2025, a Children’s Day celebration was organized at Parque San Eugenio, bringing together around 52 people, including 24 children. The program focused on the five techniques used in the Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV): silent sitting, quotation, storytelling, devotional singing, and group activities, promoting reflection, unity, and learning the values. The gathering concluded with the sharing of a healthy snack, reinforcing the importance of caring for the body and nurturing human values in everyday life.
The Seminario Sai Center provides food for the homeless every week, a program that has been ongoing for more than 25 years. The service is organized by five volunteer teams, one for each Sunday of the month, with 10 to 15 SSSIO members in each team, who lovingly prepare, pack, and distribute about 80 to 90 meals to those in need.
On November 22 and 23, 2025, the Center presented a two-day program combining spiritual activities and service. On November 23, 32 SSSIO members prepared and distributed 100 vegetarian lunches to those without homes, alongside prayers, a workshop titled 'Paths to Spirituality', a Study Circle on 'Purity is Divinity', devotional singing, and meditation.
The centenary year brought together SSSIO members across Chile in devotional music, bhajans, and Vedas recitation. Young Adults participated actively in coordination and outreach workshops, while chanting gatherings deepened the community's spiritual connection and celebrated Swami's enduring legacy.
Colombia
On April 4 and 5, 2025, two public conferences were held in Bucaramanga and Bogotá as part of an outreach initiative to share Swami's teachings based on human values with the wider community. The events, titled 'Teachers Who Inspire: The Transformation of Education to Build Society' and 'Let's Awaken to a Higher Consciousness', brought together 265 attendees, including 233 guests not affiliated with the Sai Organization. The presentations addressed the transformative role of education, personal growth, and spiritual awareness grounded in human values, followed by interactive question-and-answer sessions that encouraged meaningful dialogue and reflection.
From July 25 to 27, 2025, the Public Outreach Committee organized the Third Spiritual Retreat with the theme 'Connecting with the Inner Self: The Great Challenge of Being Human' in the city of Chía, Cundinamarca. The three-day program attracted 25 participants, including 15 people not affiliated with the SSSIO, featuring silent sitting, devotional singing, guided reflections, inspirational readings, and group activities designed to encourage inner awareness and personal transformation. Participants reported a positive inner impact, and greater calmness, clarity, and gratitude. They left the retreat with practical spiritual tools for their daily lives, inspired by the teachings of Baba.
The Sai Santa Helena Center in Bogotá hosts monthly gatherings on human values titled 'Workshop on Values: Conscious Human Relationships'. These Saturday afternoon meetings, open to all, include workshops, film discussions, and group dialogues focused on topics related to daily life and the practice of human values, such as self-esteem, harmonious relationships, beliefs, and happiness. The gatherings attract an average of 15 participants, with most attendees from the general public, many of whom complete the ISSE Human Values Diploma program.
Two Sai Young Leadership Dialogues were held in Bogotá on September 6 and October 4, 2025, bringing together Young Adults between the ages of 18 and 40 to reflect on the practice of human values in contemporary life. The gatherings created a space to share experiences, challenges, and insights on integrating spirituality into professional, academic, and personal lives. The first dialog included 21 participants, while the second attracted 16, fostering meaningful dialogue and supporting inner growth among the younger generation.
Over the past three years, the SSSIO of Colombia, in collaboration with the Institute of Sathya Sai Education of Colombia, has provided ongoing support to four geriatric homes, including the San Joaquín Geriatric Home in Cundinamarca and three additional homes in Bogotá. The initiative serves about 100 elderly residents, many of whom were abandoned by their families. Through monthly visits, volunteers offer companionship, recreational activities, emotional support, hairdressing services, and donations to improve the residents' well-being. In 2025, 15 visits were conducted. In December, a special service project involved 47 graduates of the human values diploma program and their families, with more than 70 people contributing to the distribution of clothing, food, and a washing machine.
Ecuador
Beginning in March 2025, three members of the Sai Center of Loja cleaned up waste in the Vilcabamba region, along approximately 2 km of trails near the Chamba River. The volunteers collected plastics, glass, cigarette butts, and other debris over several months, resulting in the removal of 103.32 kg of waste.
On November 29, 2025, three Sai volunteers from the Santa Clara of Quito Sai Center organized recreational games, group activities, and dance programs for 78 children at Rumipamba School in Rumiñahui canton, province of Pichincha. The volunteers happily distributed food, toys, clothing, food containers, soft drinks, and 100 bags of sweets to the children.
In December 2025, two volunteers from the Sai Center of Loja planted 21 native trees approximately 0.5 km from the town center in the Vilcabamba region. The project included ongoing follow-up, such as irrigation during dry periods and maintenance of the planting area. To date, 20 of the 21 trees are thriving, and the one that did not survive was replanted, reflecting sustained commitment to environmental responsibility.
Paraguay
In November 2025, SSSIO volunteers distributed 380 food kits to 380 families across six indigenous communities of Nepoxen, Kenaten, Tajamar Kabaju, Saria, 4 de Agosto, and 8 de Enero in the Chaco region. Ten volunteers worked in different roles to ensure the successful completion of the initiative, which provided essential nutrition to underserved communities.
To commemorate the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Asunción continued its ongoing cataract surgery program, providing free eye surgeries for underprivileged individuals. Since its inception in 2019, surgeries have been performed monthly at a local ophthalmological center in Asunción. As of November 2025, a total of 1,009 cataract surgeries were successfully performed, surpassing the original goal of 1,000 surgeries. The initiative was supported by a dedicated team of 10 medical professionals and 15 general volunteers, reflecting a sustained effort to restore vision and improve the quality of life of the needy.
On November 23, 2025, a Thanksgiving Mass was held at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Asunción to commemorate the milestone of completing 1,000 cataract surgeries. The ceremony brought together approximately 100 people, including SSSIO members, medical professionals, nurses, patients and their families, who gathered in gratitude and celebration. Doctors shared testimonies about their transformative experiences from the selfless service, and a commemorative video highlighted the progress of the initiative from its inception to this remarkable milestone.
Peru
To mark the start of the school year, a 'Happy Back to School' service was held on February 23, 2025, in Huarochirí Province, Lima, and on March 2 in Cerro San Francisco, Lima, benefiting children aged 3 to 12 in two informal settlements. A total of 115 school supply packages were distributed, each including notebooks, colored pencils, rulers, pencils, and modeling clay. The initiative was supported by 10 SSSIO members and included a Human Values Workshop, a talk on dental care and hygiene, and haircuts for the children, integrating education, health guidance, and loving service.
On July 6 in Huarochirí Province, Lima, and on July 13 in Cerro San Francisco, 13 SSSIO volunteers distributed clothing, shoes, blankets, quilts, sheets, and kitchen items to 50 families from two settlements. Handmade quilts from the SSSIO Weaving Workshop were also donated to babies. The service was complemented by a Human Values Workshop for 40 children, family counseling for five individuals, and free haircuts, integrating material assistance with educational and supportive care.
During July, August, and September 2025, the Public Outreach team, with the support of the Embassy of India, organized five talks expanding Sai's message, focusing on leadership and human values. The talks were held in the auditorium of the Embassy of India in Lima. Each talk was attended by 26 to 35 participants from the community. His Excellency Ambassador Vishvas Vidu Sapkal and the Director of the Indian Cultural Center joined some sessions.
On August 24, 2025, the Environmental Sustainability Coordinator gave 30 seedlings to the children participating in the Human Values Workshop in Huarochirí Province, Lima. The children happily received the seedlings and pledged to care for them, despite the challenges of living in a desert area with limited resources. A psychologist from the SSSIO also provided family counseling.
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, five Sai volunteers from the Miraflores Sai Center delivered toys to 43 children and clothing and essential supplies to 30 families in Pamplona Alta, south of Lima. The selfless service assisted families affected by a devastating fire, offering relief and support to those who had lost their belongings. It was received with great joy and gratitude.
Uruguay
On November 23, 2025, the Sai Center of Montevideo celebrated the 100th Birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba with an event that brought together 40 SSSIO members and included Vedic chanting, devotional singing, and the distribution of gifts. Throughout the year, the center continued its ongoing commitment to community service through regular food distribution, extending Swami's love to those most in need.
Venezuela
In 2025, SSSIO members celebrated the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with a year-long program of devotional and service activities organized across different areas. Throughout the twelve months, special initiatives honored the life, teachings, and legacy of the beloved Master, culminating in a dedicated program in November. The main celebration took place at the Sai Center of Sabana Grande in Caracas. On November 22, a Special Centenary Concert was held, featuring nationally recognized musicians and performers of traditional Indian music, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. On the morning of November 23, the sacred Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Shatabdi Homa was performed with about 100 members in attendance. The celebrations continued in the afternoon with devotional singing and bhajans, concluding with the traditional birthday song, the cutting of the commemorative cake, and a commitment to live and practice His teachings.
