God is and there can only be One, not multiple! "There is only one God and He is omnipresent! There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart."  God must be visualized by means of constant spiritual discipline. Do not have doubts and hesitations.

You may undertake any task, but do not pray to God for the fulfillment of the task undertaken. Instead, leave everything to His Will. Have full faith that He will do what is good for you. Pray to Him, "Oh God, please take care of our needs every moment of our lives." When you discharge your duties, surrendering everything to God's Will, you will certainly achieve success in your tasks.

What is the nature of divine love? When praying to God, you should have the feeling of total surrender. If you are truly keen on realizing God, if you are hungering and thirsting for God, then you should cultivate this all-absorbing love. You should try to experience union with the divine.

Never damage other people’s faith in divinity. Encourage others to have such faith by demonstrating in your own life that virtue is its own reward, that divinity is all-pervasive and all-powerful.

Self-confidence is the basis of faith. How can a man who is not sure about his own future over the next few days, have faith in God? Only the man who has faith in himself can have faith in God.

You must be thinking about the gift you have to offer Swami on this Birthday. You can be happy that you have given Swami a proper gift only when you love your fellowmen, share their sufferings, and engage yourselves in serving them. That is the only gift I wish for. The present offered to God has to be pure, steady and selfless love.

Good qualities impart sweetness to life. Good conduct alone is the right source of strength for a human being. A person without good conduct becomes a weak and pitiable creature. Remember, good qualities like forbearance and sacrifice lend fragrance to the life of a human being.

Divinity is immanent in every being. But who is responsible for this divinity within? The mother who has borne you for nine months with many difficulties and is even ready to sacrifice her life for your welfare. You owe your existence to your mother. The welfare of the children depends on the mother. It is because of the mother’s love that children become eminent and great. So, the foremost duty of every individual is to be grateful to one’s mother, respect her and serve her.

The most powerful weapon to destroy the forces of evil rampant in the world today is love. Love is the seed of love. It is also the branches, the flowers and the fruit. To enjoy the fruit of love, one has to practice Love.

A heart without love is like a cemetery. Love demonstrates the existence of the divine. It is all pervasive. It is the basis for the unity of humankind. Such unity will only be achieved when selfishness goes away and faith in the divine grows.

Make yourselves into a garland, and I shall be the thread holding all the flowers together. Consider yourselves the children of one mother, belonging to the human family. Do not give room for differences of race, creed, and nationality. All belong to the caste of humanity, the religion of love, and the language of the heart.

Those who are in the Sai Organizations will be achieving their real purpose only when they rise above good and evil, look with equal regard upon all those around them, and see divinity in all.

Love must grow with every moment of spiritual practice. It must sweeten every word, deed, and thought. Emerge from meditation as a person more charged with love! Emerge from bhajans (devotional singing) with a greater measure of love! Return from bhajans with a firmer conviction that everything is surcharged with the same divinity that is behind all your activity.

If a person today is under the sway of sorrow and misery, their mind is responsible for it. Happiness and sorrow, affections and aversions, and the sensual pleasures that people experience arise out of his mind. Since the mind is filled with the sense of duality you suffer from all these conditions. When the mind is trained to see the oneness of all creation, it will be free from temptations and distractions.
