Pathways

The International Young Adults Pathways subcommittee aims to to empower the spiritual learning and development of the future generation of Young Adults (aged 18–22) by creating a strong support system through mentorship and relevant learning with the application of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings in daily life. The ages of 18 to 22 are one of the most crucial age brackets for Young Adults (YAs). Having finished school and moved onto further study or work, it is a period of great change and therefore crucial for YAs to have a greater understanding of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings, when making key life decisions.

In light of the above, we believe that a variety of relatable initiatives and materials will better cater to this exciting and important phase and also support the transition into the YA programme. The International Young Adults Pathways subcommittee will develop content and initiatives for all YAs in this age group, (not only those who have participated in the SSE programme or have been raised in a Sai family).

Inspiring YAs to continue with their spiritual journey independently and with confidence is one of the core objectives of this subcommittee, to achieve this we will provide the YAs with:

  • access to selected, relevant content, based on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings
  • information on Sri Sathya Sai activities within and outside Sri Sathya Sai Centres
  • materials to enable them to keep in touch with Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings whilst they are away from their conventional Sai environment (SSE classes/Sai family)
  • support YAs to re-integrate into centres, Sai-related and YA activities especially as they change cities for study and work

30 Day Sadhana Challenge

Introducing The Pathways and Serve the Planet Sadhana Challenge - a path to realize the unity between God, Nature, and man! Our aim is to foster personal transformation via Eco-spiritual Sadhanas over 30 days starting on 24 June 2021!

During this time, you will will be able to choose, practice, and track 9 daily Sadhanas:

  • Take a 5-minute shower
  • Make healthy food choices
  • Reduce, Reuse, Refuse, Recycle, Repurpose
  • A 'no-screen' meal
  • Unplug unused electronics
  • Offer a meal to Sri Sathya Sai Baba
  • Meditation
  • Listen to bhajans
  • Connect with Nature

During this time, you will also have the opportunity to join live events to keep up your motivation, get ideas, ask questions, and share your personal journey.
