An International Exhibition was inaugurated on 20th November in conjunction with the 90th Birthday celebrations and the 10th World Conference of the Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO). The Exhibition showcased highlights of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Divine glory through His life, His eternal message and His works through audio, video and multi-media presentations, as well as posters, skits and music programmes. The event is held inside the Ashram, near the book store.

SSIO volunteers from more than 50 countries worked hard to develop the content, design and presentations over a nine-month period. The Exhibition is a loving offering of unity, purity and divinity. Sathya Sai Youth from many countries came up with brilliant ideas that were executed flawlessly to produce a world-class exhibition, befitting the glory of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The Exhibition is organised in two main sections. The outer circle contains panels depicting the glorious life, work and divine words of Baba. The inner ring has four heart-shaped booths representing Love in its myriad forms: Love as understanding is Nonviolence, Love as feeling is Peace (practical spirituality), Love as action is Right Conduct (Heart of Service) and Love as thought is Truth (looking within). The paths from the four booths lead to ‘The Tree,’ which is symbolic of the World Conference theme, Love is the Source, Love is the Path and Love is the Goal.

Making "good wishes"’ messages for hospital patients

One of the innovative features is the interactive platforms interspersed throughout the Exhibition, presenting a refreshing learning experience for the visitors, especially children. These include game shows, spin-the-wheel and good wishes message for patients in the Super-Specialty Hospital. Another unique feature is an interactive ‘theatre platform’ that includes daily live music performances, multimedia presentations, service videos, skits and inspirational talks. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a magnificent, large mosaic banner that outlines a beautiful picture of Baba. The mosaic is actually composed of more than 200 pictures and artwork displayed in the exhibition.
