Love is God, God is Love. Where there is Love, there God is certainly evident. Love more and more people, love them more and more intensely; transform the love into service, transform the service into worship; that is the highest spiritual practice (sadhana).

Dedication

With love, reverence, and gratitude, the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) offers the 2024 Annual Report at the divine lotus feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima.

Inspired by His teachings, SSSIO members, officers, and volunteers from about 110 countries have been serving society and Mother Nature in various fields. We are grateful for their dedicated, selfless service and contributions to the noble divine mission.

Baba says that the purpose of all spiritual practices is the transformation of the heart, leading to Self-realization. We are grateful to our Guru, Guide, and God for founding, nurturing, and guiding the SSSIO whose ultimate objective is to share Swami’s love and message, guiding everyone on the path of Self-realization. This is the way to world peace and harmony.

This 2024 Annual Report presents many projects and services undertaken by SSSIO members to serve selflessly in His name, sharing His message, His teachings, and His works around the world. Following are some of the highlights. More information can be found in the full report.

The SSSIO International Conference, held from June 28–July 1, 2024, welcomed more than 500 participants from 35 countries to Kenya, a land blessed by Swami’s divine presence in July 1968. The conference, themed S.A.I. (Service, Adoration, Illumination), was attended by SSSIO leaders, members, the public, and many dignitaries.

The SSSIO International Conference, themed “God in Daily Life”, was held from August 16–18, 2024, in Pärnu, Estonia. Nearly a hundred participants from 12 countries gathered to immerse themselves in the divine energy of satsang, spiritual discussions, and universal brotherhood in a blessed atmosphere.

The SSSIO continued its educational activities through 28 Institutes of Sathya Sai Education (ISSEs), 39 Sathya Sai Schools, and various establishments across 10 zones worldwide. Many community and government organizations continue to recognize these schools for their academic excellence and community service. The SSSIO Education Committee maintained the ongoing process for accreditation of Sathya Sai Schools worldwide, which consists of conducting self-reviews followed by school visits to acknowledge their excellence and to collaboratively address areas needing attention.

In healthcare, the SSSIO organized numerous medical camps, clinics, mobile clinics, workshops, and other projects in 2024. From March 31 to April 9, 2024, the SSSIO held mega-medical camps in three East African countries, the very same countries graced by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in person in 1968: Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. The SSSIO medical team of 64 healthcare professionals and volunteers served an astounding 5,605 underprivileged patients in just 8 days at 6 medical camps.

The SSSIO organized a healthcare mission in Fiji from August 25–30, 2024, where 120 healthcare professionals and volunteers from Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia served 2,535 disadvantaged patients. The first camp was held on the main island, Viti Levu, followed by an overnight ferry ride to Vanua Levu, where they continued their service for five more days.

The SSSIO Young Adults (YAs), guided by the YA Committee, Subcommittees, and Zonal YAs, continue to be the young beating heart of the organization, collaborating with SSSIO leaders on all major programs and initiatives worldwide. A key milestone was the SSSIO International Sai Young Adults Leaders Retreat in Athens, Greece, from July 26–29, 2024, where 55 YA leaders from 26 countries gathered to recharge spiritually and create visions for the future of the International Sai Young Adults Program. The Sri Sathya Sai International Leadership Programme (SSSILP) for Young Adults introduced the SSSILP Summer Showers—three sessions were held in 2024 to inspire and motivate young adults. Many more YA programs are described in this Annual Report.

The SAI-100 initiative that began earlier continues to move forward, intensifying our efforts as an offering of love and gratitude to Bhagawan on His 100th Birthday in 2025. As part of this, 13 inspiring projects are underway, and a comprehensive report will be presented during the Centennial Birthday in November 2025, following the 11th World Conference in Sai Prema Nilayam, Riverside, California, USA.

The goal of all service projects and individual sadhana programs is to realize the oneness of creation and to see and experience divinity in all. Swami founded the SSSIO to aid our spiritual journey toward Self-realization and to help others realize their innate divinity. We are immensely grateful to our Lord Sai for giving us the opportunity and the privilege to play a role in His divine mission through the SSSIO.

I pray to Swami to bless us with renewed strength and wisdom so that we can continue serving Him and His creation selflessly, with unconditional love, until our last breath.
