Spirituality in ashram is a way of life. The ashram wakes up to a new life everyday at Brahmamuhurtham (early hours of the morning), which is most auspicious for spiritual sadhana (spiritual exercise). The aspirants chant the Pranava, the primordial sound, which creates powerful vibrations. This is followed by Suprabatham (verses in praise of the Lord), which seeks to awaken the divinity within. The nagarsankirtan (going round singing bhajans) performed by men and women (separately) purifies the atmosphere with divine vibrations.
