Media Team's service opportunity to curate and present Swami's words.

Give importance to the teachings and ideals of Krishna. Krishna is not different from His teachings. Krishna is Gita, Gita is Krishna. Likewise, Swami is not different from His teachings. Swami’s word is Swami.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba, September 4, 1996

What is this initiative?

A dedicated team of volunteers curates the daily quotes, enriching the homepage of Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) (, as well as the SSSIO WhatsApp and Telegram channels. These nuggets of wisdom are then organically disseminated worldwide, fostering spiritual growth and connection.

Furthermore, every Thursday, we unveil a Weekly Quote on our social media platforms, adorned with inspiring graphic designs to uplift and motivate.

"Don’t dwell on the past. Focus on the present. Henceforth, walk the path of nobility. Let there be no room for envy, animosity, or resentment. Embrace the principle of 'Help ever, Hurt never.'"

Sri Sathya Sai Baba, November 20, 1995

How can you help?

We invite volunteers to contribute by selecting English quotes for publication each month or other ways. For additional information and guidelines for preparing the quotes, please contact

How the quotes are selected

These quotes, diligently chosen with love by volunteers worldwide, undergo a rigorous quality assurance process which includes the following steps:

  • Quotes are carefully selected from Swami’s Divine Discourses and Vahinies, monthly by a team of volunteers spanning across the worldwide.

  • About 40 quotes are earmarked for the upcoming month, while the rest are archived.

  • The chosen 40 quotes undergo scrutiny for grammar correctness, gender neutrality, and adherence to contemporary spelling norms.

  • Finally, Prashanti Council meticulously reviews and selects the daily quotes for the upcoming month, along with the weekly additions.

Unique opportunity

As is evident from the quote at the top of this page, Swami's word is Swami. We are blessed to take part in this Divine task of going through Swami's Divine Discourses and writings and we express heartfelt gratitude to Swami for granting us this wonderful service opportunity. Equally, our appreciation extends to all volunteers who dedicate their time and effort in preparing and reviewing these quotes each month.

I do not give ‘speeches’; My talks are more of the conversation type. I want that you should follow every word of what I say with reverent attention, for your joy is My food. You can get joy (anandam) only by following the advice I give you, and this is why I am particular that you should listen carefully and take to heart all that I say.
