COVID 19 Relief Efforts in India
The Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) continues to serve humanity when disaster strikes. There is a severe shortage of oxygen for COVID-19 patients in India. Therefore, the SSSIO assessed various options for sending oxygen and provided over 300 concentrators to the needy in India through a well established network of volunteers.
Lifesaving medical oxygen is served in the following cities: Delhi, Calcutta, Ranchi, Guwahati, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh.
The SSSIO organized the delivery of 25 oxygen concentrators to the Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagriti which has a 50 bed mini-COVID center in Chandigarh, India. This mini-COVID center provides free quality care to all based on the principles of Love All Serve All of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The work of delivering oxygen and other medical supplies to the needy still continues.
In addition to helping people directly through medical care, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has told us that sincere prayer is one of the most effective ways to assuage the grief and suffering of victims of natural disasters. Let us continue our prayers for COVID-19 victims in India and around the world.
