Pre-World Conference in Orlando (U.S.A.)
More than 450 Sathya Sai International Organisation delegates and members from Canada, Israel, West Indies, and the USA participated joyfully in a Pre-World Conference for Zone 1, held in Orlando, Florida, from 17th to 19th April 2015. Senior SSIO leaders presented talks on Bhagawan’s teachings on love and selfless service. In addition to sharing experiences of personal transformations, study circle sessions were conducted.
Dr. Narendranath Reddy gave an overview of global initiatives undertaken by the SSIO in 2014 and 2015. Sathya Sai Youth presented highlights of youth initiatives and the upcoming International Youth Festival to be held in Prasanthi Nilayam in July 2016. A conference highlight was an exhibition on the history of the Sathya Sai Organisation in Zone 1, presented by the youth. Exhibits displayed memorabilia, pictures, and commemorative citations with timelines, starting with the establishment of the first official Sathya Sai Centre in the USA in the 1960s. Sathya Sai Youth also presented a colourful cultural programme, blending humour and music with Bhagawan’s teachings.
