The hallmark of love is selfless sacrifice (thyaga). Love seeks nothing from anyone. It bears no ill-will towards anyone. It is utterly selfless and pure.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba, June 20, 1996

With love, reverence, and gratitude, the members of Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) offer the 2021 Annual Report at the lotus feet of our dear Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the occasion of Guru Poornima 2022.

With love, reverence, and gratitude, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima 2022, members of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) humbly offer the 2021 Annual Report at the divine lotus feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This summary of the innumerable spiritual programs and humanitarian services of SSSIO worldwide is dedicated to the One who is beyond name, form, and causation, who is an incarnation of love. He is the One who gifted us this sacred organization, the SSSIO, to help us reach the supreme goal of life, Self-realization.

We are blessed and fortunate to be the contemporaries of Lord Sai – our Guru, Guide, and God. He is verily teacher of teachers – Gurunaam Guru. He is the Universal teacher who gave the eternal and universal message of love and service, transcending time, space, race, religion, caste, creed, and nationality. For the first time in the history of humanity, the Avatar of the age, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, lent His sacred name to this organization, which He founded, nurtured over five decades, and continues to guide today.

In a divine discourse on May 17, 1968, Swami said, “Obeying my instructions is enough; it will benefit you more than the most rigorous asceticism.” Accordingly, SSSIO members continue to practice His teachings, share His love, and do His work worldwide, offering humanitarian relief, solace, and spiritual guidance.

Despite the worldwide pandemic, lockdown, and other challenges, SSSIO members continued to engage in selfless service, by providing education, food, water, essential supplies, shelter, and healthcare where needed most. The SSSIO also organized relief efforts to serve those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and other calamities. As the world waited for normalcy, SSSIO members prayed for everyone’s health and happiness with inspiring devotional activities and educational programs. This Annual Report provides glimpses of the selfless service offered by SSSIO members, officers, and Young Adults in 10 Zones across 110 countries, with unity, love, and devotion.

Let us actively participate with love in the divine mission to sanctify our lives and realize our innate divinity.

We express our gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the opportunity to carry His sacred Mission forward around the world and pray to our beloved Swami to bless us so that we continue to love and serve Him, always.

Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavanthu (May All the Worlds Be Happy.)

Help as much as you can, as efficiently as you can, as silently as you can, and as lovingly as you can; leave the rest to God, who gave you a chance to serve.
