Akhanda Gayatri Chanting

SSSIO members across the world joined in the auspicious Online Akhanda Gayatri Chanting yajna during June 19–20, August 15–16, October 17–18, and December 19–20, 2020. Inspiring video footage accompanied by the Gayatri Mantra chanted by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself was broadcast throughout the 24-hour period.

Guru Poornima

Online Guru Poornima celebrations were organized on July 4 and 5, 2020. In preparation, SSSIO members immersed themselves in the three study guides published by the SSSIO, based on the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The program included a beautiful program by SSE students, uplifting musical programs by Young Adults, various service projects around the world undertaken by the SSSIO, and highlights of SSSIO activities from around the world.

Akhanda Bhajan

During November 14–15, 2020, online Akhanda Bhajan (twenty-four-hour nonstop devotional singing) was organized worldwide. Sri Sathya Sai devotees from many countries sang the glories of God, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations – which was viewed by thousands around the world.

Ladies Day

The Ladies Day was celebrated online by SSSIO on November 18 and 19, 2020. The program included a tribute to Mother Easwaramma, inspiring talks by devotees around the world, a beautiful theme song (Beacon of Nations), musical programs, skits, and presentations by Young Adults and SSE students. A video presentation titled, Early Years of the Avatar, was especially enjoyed by all.

95th Birthday

The SSSIO celebrated the 95th year of advent of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with two online sessions on November 21 and 22, 2020. The theme of the event was Happiness is union with God. A series of six short study guides were released earlier, encapsulating some of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings regarding happiness. The 2019 SSSIO Annual Report and a report on the Adoption of Communities project were offered to Swami with love and gratitude.


The online Christmas celebrations, with the theme Live in Love, were organized by SSSIO during December 24–25, 2020. The program included Baba’s Christmas discourse videoclips, sharing of Christmas memories, carols, and much more. The Sarva Dharma Choir and the International Christmas Choir presented mellifluous musical programs. The program also featured the Spanish and Portuguese "Villancicos" presentation.
