The Lord is Love. His form is Love. All beings are Love. Love saves and serves. Through love alone can good arise. Love reveals the God in all. Love binds one person to another. Love attaches one thing to another. Without love the universe is naught. The highest love makes us aware of the Lord in everyone.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba, December 25, 1981
With love, reverence, and gratitude, the members of Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) offer the 2020 Annual Report at the lotus feet of our dear Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the occasion of His 96th Birthday in November 2021.
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is an incarnation of love. His Love is infinite, and His message is love. His Love embraces all races, religions, nationalities, ethnicities, languages, and cultures. Baba exhorted all humanity to “Love All and Serve All” and as an offering of love for His 96th Birthday, SSSIO chose the theme, “Divine Love is the Power and the Way”.
To express this love in action, the SSSIO officers and members in about 120 countries around the world have performed selfless loving services, in addition to conducting many devotional and educational activities. Music is one of the ways to adore the Lord and touch people’s heart. Many musical programs, inspired by devotion to Bhagawan, were offered in 2020.
It is wonderful to see the dedication and commitment of SSSIO members, who continued to serve the needy with enthusiasm and energy despite many challenges and restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout 2020, they provided food, water, shelter, healthcare, and education in many corners of the world. It is especially moving to see the heartwarming services done in the African continent and other parts of the world to combat hunger and major food shortage. In addition, many online health education programs were conducted. The SSSIO Young Adults also served their communities lovingly in all these areas during these challenging times.
The 2020 Annual Report highlights the activities of the SSSIO in countries around the world to motivate us to continue providing selfless services and inspire others to do the same. This leads to transformation of the heart so that we become purer, more loving, and selfless. Bhagawan has said, “Service to Man, is Service to God.” Service to the communities we live in will lead to peace in the world and will also help us realize our innate divinity, which is the ultimate goal.
We pray to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to bless us so that we continue to love and serve Him always.
Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavanthu (May All the Worlds Be Happy.)
